6.1 Policy Documents

  1. PARTY policy documents shall govern the day-to-day operations of the PARTY, such as, Human Resources and Administrative policies, financial and audit and administration and management policies. 
  2. The policy documents shall be developed by the National Executive Committee (NEC). 
  3. Once the NEC develops the policies, they shall be circulated to the National Governing Council (NGC) for final review and approval. Should there be comments from the NGC review process, the policy documents shall be sent back to the NEC for corrections and or clarifications before final approvals. 
  4. The approved policies shall be implemented by the PARTY secretariat. 
  5. The policy documents shall be reviewed periodically every three years. If there are no changes to the policies, then, they will be re-issued as effective until the next periodic review of three years. If there are changes on the policies, then, the policies will be set to draft and updated by following the development, review and approval process described herein.  

6.2 Policy Reporting Document

  1. PARTY reporting documents are public such as financial and strategic policy reports. 
  2. PARTY reporting documents shall be generated from within the responsible functions. E.g., Financial Reports will be developed within the treasury function. 
  3. Once the reporting documents are generated from responsible functions, they shall be forwarded to the National Executive Committee for final review and approval before being published. Should there be comments from the NEC review process, the reporting documents shall be sent back to the respective functions for corrections and or clarifications before final approvals. 
  4. Reporting documents shall be generated annually. 
  5. The reporting documents shall be published as hard copies for circulation in PARTY meetings such as the Annual General Meetings. 
  6. For reference at any other time, the reporting documents shall be published on the PARTY website. 
  7. The policy for reporting documents shall be reviewed every three years. If there are no changes to the policy, the reporting documents shall be generated following the process outlined herein. The reporting documents shall always follow the most recent policy for reporting documents.
